Hello, my name is Jason Scheff and I'm the tenor lead vocalist and bass player for the band Chicago.  My 2 sons, Jason and Connor have been going to Rock Nation for about 6 months now and I have to say it is the best thing my kids could have gotten involved in for their musical growth. Much better than if Dad was trying to teach them to play.

What I've told the staff at Rock Nation is that they are showing kids one of the most important things to become well rounded musicians and singers. To
PLAY and SING with as many DIFFERENT types of other musicians and singers possible. That's how I grew up. Having to adapt and the generation right
after me had the double edged sword of having *gear* at their disposal. computers, etc. so they didn't have to PLAY TOGETHER any longer. That generation produced an incredible bunch of artists but I feel they lost the ability to *adapt*. That's why I worked because I was able to adapt. You guys are bringing it back. The growth I've seen and heard in my own kids is astounding and they are learning one of the most important
components of being a modern musician. To adjust, adapt. Kudos and congratulations  - Jason Scheff.

"Just wanted to tell you how very happy we are with ROCK NATION. You are all doing a amazing job as always but, the addition of our kids learning music theory has been huge for them!! Now they do not just practice for a show, they are experimenting so much more! They are on Garage band writing and experimenting!! Brianna is working on writing her own songs!! Tony & Chase have been so amazing helping her during her lessons with ideas and advice for her lyrics for her songs!! They are looking forward to the recording arts program Briannna started a music myspace with a friend with some recording she has done!! The shows are better than ever but, we love how much more emphasis is being put on making all the kids great all around musicians and having a life long love of music then just about the show!!
